트롬본 연주자이자 음악교육가인 하나 벨로글라벡은 플로리다 주립대학교에서 연주자이자 교수진으로의 활발히 경력을 쌓고 있다. 2022년 국제 여성 브라스 컨퍼런스에서 초청 연주자로, 2020년 미국 트롬본 워크숍에서 미 육군 오케스트라와 협연하며 자신의 가치를 선보였다. 2023년 2월 Summit Records에서 발매한 데뷔 앨범 ‘Bayou Home’ 또한 큰 호평을 받았으며, 최근 2024년 8월 그녀는 일본 미토시에서 열린 국제 여성 브라스 컨퍼런스에서 공연했다. 

벨로글라벡은 솔로 연주활동 외에도 배톤루지 심포니 오케스트라의 단원으로 활동한 후 2022년부터 2023년 시즌동안 수석 객원 트롬보니스트를 역임 하였으며, 현재 탤러해시 심포니 오케스트라의 수석 트롬보니스트이다. 또한 플로리다 오케스트라, 잭슨빌 심포니 오케스트라, 루이지애나 필하모닉 오케스트라, 아르메니아 국립 필하모닉 오케스트라, 시카고 심포니 오케스트라 등 여러 오케스트라에서 객원 연주자로 활동 하고 있다. 

하나 벨로글라벡은 노스웨스턴 대학교에서 Michael Mulcahy, Douglas Wright, Timothy Higgins, Randall Hawes, Christopher Davis교수의 지도를 받아 연주학 박사를 받았다. 예일 대학교에서 Scott Hartman 교수를 사사하며 음악 석사를 받았고, 웨스턴 미시간 대학의 Steve Wolfinbarger 박사 문하에서 학사 학위를 취득했다.

벨로글라벡은 루이지애나 주립대학교와 미드웨스턴 주립대학교를 거쳐 현재 플로리다 주립대학교의 조교수로 재직중이며, 이번 2024년 텍사스 Roundtop 페스티벌의 교수진으로 합류할 예정이다.

Trombonist and educator Hana Beloglavec enjoys a vibrant career as both a performer and a faculty member at Florida State University. She has showcased her talents as a guest artist soloist at the 2022 International Women’s Brass Conference and with the U.S. Army Orchestra at the 2020 American Trombone Workshop. Her debut album, "Bayou Home," released through Summit Records in February 2023, has garnered acclaim. In August 2024, Beloglavec performed at the International Women’s Brass Conference in Mito City, Japan.

Beyond her solo endeavors, Beloglavec holds the position of principal trombonist with the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra. She previously served as acting principal trombone of the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra from 2022 to 2023 after having subbed with the orchestra for several years. Additionally, she has performed as a substitute with many orchestras, including The Florida Orchestra, the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, the Armenia National Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

Beloglavec earned her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Northwestern University, where she studied under the guidance of Professors Michael Mulcahy, Douglas Wright, Timothy Higgins, Randall Hawes, and Christopher Davis. Prior to this, she completed her Master of Music degree at Yale University and her Bachelor of Music degree at Western Michigan University, studying with Professor Scott Hartman and Dr. Steve Wolfinbarger, respectively. She was honored with the 2019 Early Career Award from Western Michigan University’s College of Fine Arts.

Currently serving as an assistant professor of music at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, Beloglavec will also serve as a faculty member for the 2024 Roundtop Festival Institute in Texas. Before joining FSU, she taught at Louisiana State University and Midwestern State University.
