 Greek Pianist Nefeli Mousoura has played solo recital at the openings of the Salzburger Festspiele and has collaborated as a soloist with conductors such as Christoph Eschenbach. She has debuted in Vienna’s Konzerthaus ( Mozartsaal) while she has performed in international festivals in Austria, Italy, Germany, Russia, Israel, the United States and has toured throughout China.

Born in Athens, currently shares her time between  Salzburg and Athens, where she gives recitals, chamber music concerts and performances with orchestras. She has debuted with the  Orchestre de l’île de France in Paris, but also collaborated with with Ton der Jugend Orchester in Austria,  Atenea Orchestra, Athens Filarmonia Orchestra, Israeli Raanana Symphonette, Orpheus Kammerorchester Wien, Sinfonieorchester der Universitaet Mozarteum, I Maestri Orchestra of London, “Mihail Jora” Symphony Orchestra Bacau, The Athens and Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestras, the National Greek Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Municipality of Athens Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra of Patras.)

 

She has won Prizes in International Competitions such as the Campillos International Competition in Spain , the prestigious “Piano Prize” awarded by the Academy of Athens and the Gina Bachauer Prize of the World in Harmony Foundation, under the presidency of Princess Irene of Spain. She is also the recipient of scholarships awarded by the Onassis Foundation, the Education and  European Culture Foundation, the Athens Megaron concert hall.

 

Nefeli has made recordings  for the Greek Radio and has repeatedly performed for the greek television. She has also participated as a pianist in the documentary “Salzburg 200” of the Austrian Radio and Television of ORF.

 

Nefeli has a Bachelor Degree, a Master Degree  and a Post Graduate Degree with highest Distinction in Solo Piano Performance from University Mozarteum of Salzburg.
